orit_shaerComputer scientist is our new Class of 1966 Associate Professor

When Nan Keohane suggested that the class gift for our 25th reunion should be an Associate Professorship, we little knew what an interesting and varied assortment of faculty members we'd be sponsoring.

Our latest Associate Professor adds to this variety. She's Orit Shaer, Class of 1966 Associate Professor of Computer Science, co-director of the Media Arts and Sciences Program and founder and director of the Wellesley College Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Lab. Read all about her on her faculty web page. And check out the videos from the HCI Lab on her departmental web page.

All of our Associate Professors and where they are now

Check this list for the previous Class of 1966 Associate Professors. Their position titles are links to their web pages. They're all doing well, and most are still at Wellesley, so Nan Keohane's strategy of using this chair to retain talented young faculty members has been a success. And one of the ones who's left is now president of Trinity College in Hartford.
